Larry Birkhead, the former boyfriend of the late Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith, was all smiles after leaving a Bahamian courtroom on Friday afternoon. Birkhead, who claims to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn, was positively beaming as he left the Bahamas court, though he refused to discuss any details of the court hearing. Despite the fact that Dannielynn's birth certificate indicates that Howard K. Stern, Smith's boyfriend, is the father of Dannielynn, Birkhead has been seeking a paternity test to prove he is the biological father of the child.

Both Larry Birkhead and Virgie Arthur, the mother of Anna Nicole Smith, are both seeking to gain custody of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern from Howard K. Stern via the Bahamas court. While the courts have ruled that the court case cannot be discussed in the media, Larry Birkhead emerged from the courtroom with a huge grin on his face, telling reporters he was "in a happy mood" after the private hearing.
