Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons has reaffirmed the age-old mantra that money doesn't buy happiness. Simmons, who founded Def Jam Records - the label responsible for launching the careers of rapper LL Cool J and Beastie Boys - claims that in spite of appearances, many wealthy people struggle with their riches and are often very unhappy with the life they lead.
He laments in his autobiography Do You!, "If I know 15 billionaires, then I know 13 unhappy people.
"These people's lives might be filled with mansions and yachts and private jets, but their medicine cabinets are also filled with antidepressants."
Personally, I can't think of anything that would make Russell unhappy besides being married to that ugly bitch Kimora and knowing that she'll take half his fortune if he were to ever have the guts to divorce her.
