Kelly Rowland Is Officially No Longer Beyonce's Friend

MTV.com:
Destiny's Child sang on their 2000 hit "Independent Woman" that they depend on themselves to pay their own bills. Perhaps founding member Kelly Rowland is taking that motto to heart.

The singer announced in a joint statement Wednesday (January 28) with Matthew Knowles that the two are severing their working relationship. Knowles is Beyoncé's father and manages her, in addition to her sister Solange , and Destiny's Child. He also oversaw Rowland's career since she her first solo LP, 2002's Simply Deep.

"Mathew Knowles has been a positive influence in my career," Rowland said in the statement. "I have had great success under his guidance — both as a member of Destiny's Child and with my solo projects. Although we have decided to part ways professionally, the Knowles family and the entire Music World Entertainment team will always be my family."

Destiny's Child split in 2005 but have maintained the split is not permanent.

Of course this is all Beyonce's fault. Kelly never got a chance to shine on her own in Destiny's Child and Beyonce could've featured Kelly on one of her hit singles after she went solo--I mean that's what friends do, right? I say for her next record Kelly needs to record a diss track and put Bey on blast.

Beyonce Falls Face-First!

Apparently her record company has shut down the exclusive footage of Beyonce falling flat on her face so it's no longer available on YouTube, but thank goodness for TMZ! Serves her right for trying to be Tina Turner.

Kelly Rowland Is An Idiot

It's one thing to stand up for your BFF, but it's another to lie to them, much less the general public. Beyonce is a horrible actress, we all know that, but who cares? She's a great singer, she's beautiful and besides being the best at what he does, her man loves her more than he loves himself. Beyonce will be right without that Oscar Kelly, so why don't you do yourself a favor and stop kissing her ass and concentrate on you now.

Beyonce Wants Kids In 10 Years

From ICYDK.com:

Beyoncé wants to be a mom – but not just yet.

Asked in the June issue of France’s Questions de femmes
magazine if she wants kids, she says: “Yes, in 10 years! For the moment, there are still so many things I need to accomplish.”

The
singer, 25, and boyfriend Jay-Z have long shot down wedding rumors, and in January Beyoncé told InStyle: “You can’t rush a man into anything – whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children. When he’s ready, he’ll let you know.”
Seriously, what does Beyonce have left to accomplish? I just know that if it's an Oscar, she can forget about it.

Beyonce Being Sued!

Beyoncé told MTV News that she hadn't planned to put her cover of Des'ree's "I'm Kissing You" — which she retitled "Still in Love (Kissing You)" — on her re-released B'Day - Deluxe Edition album and video anthology, but other people insisted, telling her she'd be "crazy" not to. She might have benefited from a second opinion, since now she's being sued for copyright infringement over the track.

The Royalty Network — which administers the publishing on behalf of Westbury Music, owner of the copyright for Des'ree's song — is asking for $150,000 in damages and seeks an injunction to recall the album from stores, according to a suit filed Monday in Manhattan Federal Court. A hearing to show cause has been scheduled for Monday.

Beyonce just needs to admit that she's a biter and cough up the dough. I mean it's not like she can't afford it.

Farrah Franklin Hatin' On Beyonce

It looks like former Destiny's Child member Farrah Franklin may still harbor ill feelings towards Beyonce. MediaTakeOut.com got it's hands on an interview that Farrah did with a publication called N Magazine. Below is an excerpt from the interview:

Nmagazine: So Farrah, any new projects coming out

Farrah: Yeah actually I’ve been in the studio working on my album

NM: So, this would be your first solo album?

Farrah: Yup! (Very enthusiastically)

NM: You must be excited

Farrah: Very (giggles)

NM: we all know you used to be in Destiny’s Child. What’s the difference
between being in DC and being a solo artist?

Farrah: well when I was in it (Destiny’s Child) it was more focused on one
person. It’s called a group but it was more like a solo artist and her backup
singers. I don’t take a backseat to anyone and that’s why I quit

NM: is it fair to say that solo artist is Beyonce?

Farrah: (laughs) whoever you want it to be

NM: we have to ask, are the rumors true? Is Beyonce a bee-otch?

Farrah: (laughs very hard) ummmm. I wouldn’t say she’s a bitch but she is
(long pause) a perfectionist.

Any sane person would tell you that Destiny's Child was mostly about Beyonce, but for Farrah to still be hatin' so many years after she left the group is kind of wack.

Smokey Robinson Slams "Dreamgirls"!

From ImediNews:

LOS ANGELES (UPI) — Dreamgirls creators owe an apology to Motown Records, Berry Gordy and Diana Ross for a movie of false information, Motown icon Smokey Robinson said.

Robinson, front man for Smokey Bill Robinson and the Miracles, said the producers depicted Motown Records founder Berry Gordy and the Supremes' Diana Ross with a lot of false information and negativity, Access Hollywood said.

Robinson said the producers owe Berry Gordy a public apology ... rapidly.

It is like an insult to our intellect and our intelligence and our integrity and our leader and our love for each other and our legacy, Robinson said during a recent interview on the syndicated show.

He said he was particularly bothered by Jamie Foxx's character, Curtis Taylor Jr., which Foxx said was based on several record executives he knows, not Gordy.

Gordy not only created his dream, Robinson said, but allowed a lot of other dreams to come true and he did it with integrity.

I liked the movie and Jennifer Hudson deserves an Oscar, but what's up with Beyonce just having to get her own song?
