It's amazing sometimes how the media will play up the looks of a white female celebrity (see" Nicole Kidman or Drew Barrymore). I mean Katie Holmes seems like a nice girl, cute on a good day, but she's obviously in serious need of a stylist, she's not as attractive as her husband (no homo) and this "new 'do" People magazine is praising her about looks horrible on her.
