I always believed Mel B.'s claims that Eddie was her babydaddy, but the more that comes out about her personal life, the more I can understand why Eddie wanted no part of this.

And she's adamant that a DNA test will prove that the 46-year-old Dreamgirls star is her new baby's dad.

However, even though Scary's hired a ridiculously expensive lawyer, friends say she doesn't want Murphy to have any part in her baby's life.

The source adds: "She doesn't want him involved because he has hurt her too much."

I believe Mel B. She never had a rep for being a slut and she'd look really stupid if it came off that she's lying.
